Social Media & Community Manager (all genders) - French Speaker
Highsnobiety is seeking a French-speaking Social Media & Community Manager to support our in-house agency. We're looking for a razor-sharp, highly organized, and social media-obsessed individual to assist with community and content management, social copywriting, and reporting for a FMCG client’s social media accounts.
As a Social Media & Community Manager, you live and breathe social and have a strong understanding of the tone, trends, and topics shaping conversations. You should have flawless French, spoken and written, and a knack for writing engaging, platform-optimized social captions and headlines.
In addition to a passion for social media, the ideal candidate will have several years of experience in community management and a proven track record of leading, or independently managing, social media channels. This includes ideating content, creating reports, and managing an account’s community in a professional capacity.
YOUR MISSION:
Manage our key clients’ FR and BENELUX social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
Cultivate our clients’ following by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering interactions with the online community.
Be the main point of contact for our FR client, coordinating weekly on community management, calendar management and publishing schedules.
Manage the content calendar and publishing schedule using tools such as Loomly.
Write all in-asset copy, including headlines, short editorial texts and subtitles, ensuring it is flawless.
Understand the nuances of the brand’s tone of voice and personality, and engage followers with witty, poignant captions.
Prepare performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Attend events to capture content on the phone to post to Instagram Stories.
YOUR SKILLS:
4+ years in a social media management role.
Fluency in French, including idiomatic and cultural nuance. Excellent English. Knowledge of Dutch is an added bonus.
An obsession with social media and knowledge of the latest social trends.
Deep understanding of pop culture - you’re plugged into the latest trends and conversations.
A knack for witty, insightful copy and high cultural sensitivity.
Experience in scheduling, managing, and publishing social media content.
Experience working with clients and in cross-functional teams.
A professional demeanour and highly committed work ethic.
A highly organised and proactive approach to your work.
Bonus: Familiarity with Sprout, Asana, Capcut, Photoshop/InDesign.
