Account Director (all genders)
We are looking for a quality-driven, multi-account juggling Account Director to join our creative agency Highsnobiety+. The responsibilities include building and nurturing healthy client relationships, briefing and overseeing internal teams to ensure project success at every step, allocating and managing budgets, and identifying new areas of growth in collaboration with our Brand Partnerships team. They will also provide leadership and guide the career development of direct reports.
Successful candidates will be resourceful self-starters who say ‘yes’ to developing new skills, are emotionally intelligent with exceptional interpersonal skills, a proven track record of senior client relationship management and experience in strategic leadership, at least 8 years of work experience with some experience in a management role, and a keen eye for detail.
YOUR MISSION:
Own the full project lifecycle by planning, organizing, and managing client and internal initiatives end-to-end, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget
Collaborate with different creative teams, production, sales, editorial, global client services counterparts, and external partners
Foresee challenges or obstacles and take action to minimize the impact
Work closely with the team to improve workflows and gather learnings from previous projects
Set the standard and create best practices for collaboration, innovation, and thought leadership
Ensure the company’s retention of clientele, facilitate further growth within your accounts, and perform negotiations
Manage client communications and direct senior leadership stakeholders through the partnership
Act as a senior point of contact for our top-level clients and build close relationships
Be willing to travel (EU, occasionally global) as required for client meetings and productions
Understand the business goals and objectives of each assignment, and identify the optimal processes and procedures for each client
Drive, motivate, and hold internal teams accountable to deliver high-quality results
Develop goals and objectives for your direct reports, providing guidance and upskilling support to each individual
YOUR SKILLS:
At least 8+ years of experience in a client-facing role as Account or Client Services Director within a creative or media agency or similar
Complete knowledge of digital and creative production processes (experience in both social-first and more traditional content production is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
Ability to work under pressure, independently, and within a team setting
Deep knowledge of digital advertising, content marketing capabilities, and implementation
In touch with culture, trends, marketing, media, and the lifestyle brand landscapes
Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive personality
Ability to motivate and lead a team of direct reports and wider departments
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrable ability to drive efficiencies through process improvements
Strong communication, creative thinking, and presentation abilities
Fluency in English required (German language desired but not required)
